The Sand dunes of Sahara are the most famous and occupy a large area hence known to be the largest worldwide. The Sand dunes are found in the largest desert in the world. This gives it the advantage for many frequent visits to the area by tourists, researchers, and the interest of the photographers. Covering over 8.6 square kilometers, the Sahara desert is covered by sands all through, and hence the sand dunes covering a very large area.

Attractions at the Sand Dunes of Sahara

Sand dunes being the most famous and common in the Sahara desert, there are also other attractions in the area. The Sahara desert is known to be the most mysterious destination in the world. Other than the Sand dunes there are hundreds of attractions like some of the historical monuments that are seen inflated striking sand dunes. On the Moroccan side, the Sahara desert is also covering a large area and on your visit to the desert, you find the Arzilla which is a historical site that attracts any in morocco. It’s a building that carries lots of activities inside, like the cultural festivals held there. There are also other animals that live on the sand and tend to come out during the day to get some fresh air and bask in the sun. You get to see them and their funny behaviors is really an interesting place to choose for you to tour in the sand dunes of the Sahara. The best and enjoyable of all is riding on the camels and seeing many more doing it at the sand dunes of the Sahara.

How to visit the sand dunes of the Sahara

The most common means to the sand dunes of the Sahara is by camel though there are also other ways to get there. A camel can take you through the entire journey on the Sand dunes of the Sahara as it is believed to walk very long distances tirelessly. There are also cars used but by very few people since this is desert and there would be a problem if you got a puncture or if there was a shortage of fuel. But for those who like taking risks or that area afraid ride on camels then you can choose to use the car or alternatively walk on foot which will make you so tired as the place is seriously hot and the sand still could be hot to step on. It is really interesting for taking this trip.

There are a quite number of accommodations at the Sand dunes of Sahara, ranging from resorts to hotels. It also depends on the side of the desert you are visiting. On the Newzealand side like Piha Beach, there are a few resorts located there. The sand ocean club resort is another high-class resort, ocean dunes resort and villa, and the dunes village resort with many more.

Sand dunes of the Sahara are found in many African countries and so you might choose to visit from the nearest country or the side of your choice. The Camel riding is the best experience together with many more attractions at the sand dunes of the Sahara
