I went to Dubai three years back and it was a trip I can never forget. I had actually planned everything before leaving home. I knew exactly where I had to be each day because  I was supposed to be there for 5 days only. So if you’re planning your trip to Dubai, make sure you get to visit all the worthy places like Desert Safari, Global Village, Jumeirah Beach, Wild Wadi, Burj Al Arab, and of course all the shopping malls.

Table of Contents

  • 1 Desert Safari
  • 2 Global Village
  • 3 Wild Wadi
  • 4 Burj Al Arab

Desert Safari

Desert safari

Your holiday won’t be complete if you haven’t visited the Desert Safari. You can experience the fascinating Desert Safari on the sand dunes with 4 wheel drive speed through the desert over the sand dunes.

Remember to keep your camera and films in your bags, as you may not get another opportunity to capture the sun setting among the sand dunes.

Global Village

The best time to visit Dubai is around February when they have their most popular festivals going on and Global Village is one of them. Global Village is the world’s biggest tourism, leisure and entertainment project and it is located in DUBAILAND. You will be able to easily find Global Village just 10 minutes from the Dubai International Airport and 60 minutes from Abu Dhabi.

The Entertainment Fun Fair Area attracts millions of people every year, has a lot of exciting games and adventurous rides in store. A daily attraction is the fireworks display that lights up the night sky at Global Village and there are occasional attractions like the Kite Festival. A big crowd-puller is the spectacular free-for-all Musical Fountain located in the heart of Global Village.

Wild Wadi

Wild Wadi is a water park right next to the popular Dubai hotel Burj Al Arab.  Wild Wadi is an outdoor water park with a heated/cooled wave pool, multiple water slides, and two artificial surfing machines. In addition, the park has the largest water slide outside of North America. Another feature of the park is an 18 m (59 ft) waterfall that goes off every ten minutes. The water park also has two gift shops, three restaurants, and two snack stands.

If you have been a fan of “The Amazing Race”  television show, you probably have seen Wild Wadi on it.

Burj Al Arab

Burj al Arab Hotel and Madinat Jumeirah Resort

The Burj Al Arab is a luxury hotel located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It is the second tallest building used exclusively as a hotel, after Rose Tower, also in Dubai. The hotel rests on an artificial island constructed 280 meters offshore. To secure a foundation, the builders drove 230 40-meter long concrete piles into the sand.

It is managed by the Jumeirah Group. Despite its size, the Burj Al Arab holds only 28 double-story floors that accommodate 202 bedroom suites. The smallest suite occupies an area of 169 square meters (1,819 sq ft), the largest covers 780 square meters (8,396 sq ft). It is one of the most expensive hotels in the world. The cost of staying in a suite begins at $1,000 per night; the Royal Suite is the most expensive, at $28,000 per night.

Don’t forget to visit all the shopping malls. They are a big attraction to tourists in Dubai.
