London is a historic city, built on centuries of commerce, culture, and politics but foremost amongst all the capital cities in the world it has continually held a reputation for being forward-thinking and cutting edge and makes for a wonderful place to visit with the old and new coexisting seamlessly side by side.

Blenheim Palace, The Cotswold’s & Stratford Upon Avon

Blenheim Palace is one of the most impressive historic residences in the country, with beautiful gardens and staterooms that are open to the public. This tour takes you around the best of the sites Blenheim has to offer, and you can choose between a tour of the interior with an experienced guide introducing you to the Palace’s unique history or a tour of the stunning gardens and famous Marlborough Maze. The main tour then takes you onto The Cotswolds, with its beautiful landscape and pretty villages, with the option to stop for lunch in one of the cozy little pubs or explore some of the quaint little shops and thatched cottages. Finally, the tour ends with Stratford Upon Avon, the birthplace of Shakespeare, and a tour of his carefully restored timber-framed home and a free walking tour of some of the other fine old buildings in this attractive town.

This tour operates on Tuesdays and Saturdays, leaving from London Victoria Bus Station, and transport is provided by a deluxe coach service with a professional guide and driver. Adult tickets are £40 each, children’s tickets are £31.00 each.

Day Tour of London City

Includes St Paul’s Cathedral, Buckingham Palace and the changing of the guard, Tower of London, a Thames River Cruise, and Westminster Abbey.

This tour takes in the best sites that London has to offer in a guided, professional tour:
* St Paul’s Cathedral was the masterpiece of the famous architect Sir Christopher Wren and is situated in the heart of London city, near the Bank of England.

* Buckingham Palace is a highlight of many visitors’ trips to London, with the changing of the guard in their famous red tunics and bearskin hats attracting large crowds each day.

* The Tower of London was built over 900 years ago and has been guarded by the Yeoman Warders for over 6 centuries. In its history, the Tower of London has served many purposes from Royal Palace to the home of the Crown Jewels, but it is perhaps best known for its grisly history as a place of imprisonment, for those treasonous criminals awaiting execution.

* A cruise down the River Thames is a relaxing way to see London, and the short cruise on this tour takes you from Westminster to the Tower of London, passing many interesting sites such as the Houses of Parliament, Shakespeare’s Globe theatre, and the famous Tower Bridge.

* Westminster Abbey is the traditional coronation site for the English Monarchs and also the burial place of kings and queens and many famous historical figures such as Charles Dickens, Sir Isaac Newton, and Sir Laurence Olivier. On Sundays the Abbey is closed for services, so the tour will take you around the Cloisters and Chapter House, or to the Imperial War Museum.

The day tour of London costs £62.50 for an adult ticket and £53.50 for a child’s ticket, but prices may vary during peak times of the year. Transport around the sites is provided by a first-class coach, with the services of a Blue Badge Guide included in the ticket price. The tour departs from London Victoria Bus Station before 8:45 am, and is available throughout the week.
