The Forbidden City

This historical palace is located in Beijing and is preserved as a historical imperial palace. This is the largest ancient palatial structure in the history of the earth. This place is located near Tiananmen square which another great tombstone in China.

The Temple of Heaven

This is also situated in Beijing and also a world heritage site. This is recognized as Beijing’s imperial temple. This is the masterpiece of architecture and landscape design. I think tourists who visit China will be surprised to see the architectural inventiveness of this temple. This temple is also a sacred place for Chinese people.

The Yellow Mountain

This is also very popular with Chinese people as well as foreign visitors for its unique beauty. The lotus peak is the highest peak of this mountain with a height of 1873 meters (6145 feet). This is also an intact nature reserve, where around 500 animal species and 1500 kinds of plants are recognized by scientists. These are also listed as World Natural Heritage sites in 1990. This place is really recommended who love nature, basically forest, mountain, and biological species.

The Potala Palace

This palace is situated on Moburi (Red) Mountain to the west of old Lhasa. This is a treasure house where ancient materials and articles are reserved from Tibetan history, religion, culture, and art. This palace is world-recognized for its valuable sculptures, murals, scriptures, Buddha statues, murals, antiques, and religious jewelry. This is valued for its ancient artistic creation. The World Heritage Organization recognized this palace as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site in 1994.

Yangshuo Tourist Destination

This tourist place is popular with its crystal clear rivers, limestone, and diversified vegetation, traditional Chinese structural design, and civilization. If you look in Chinese classical landscape paintings and poetry you can find the use of this landscape. To me, this is one of the best natural places in the world.

The Silk Road

This is also belonged long history and is actually a trade route linking the Chinese and Roman Empire. This road mainly flowed through the northwest of China and has a history of more than 2000 years. You will be surprised to learn that this road was on tracked from the ancient capital of Luoyang and Xi’an and ended in the Yellow River at Lanzhou and after that lengthen in the course of “Gansu Corridor” through adventurous deserts and mountains. The Silk Road conveys the ancient trade history of China. Still, this is a big mystery and attraction to millions of people all over the world.

Yangtze River of China

The length of this river is more than 3,964 miles. This is the largest river in China and placed 3rd on the earth among all rivers. This river has great significance for the development of China. It’s originated from Qinghai Province in western China, the Yangtze River flows through 11 provinces and several cities from west to east, with Qinghai, Tibet, Sichuan, Yunnan, Chongqing, Hubei, Hunan, Jiangxi, Anhui, Jiangsu, and lastly, its ended in Shanghai. The river creates mind-blowing natural scenery through both sides of the river.

The Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses

This is basically archaeological creation in China and located in Shaanxi Province. These are considered the best noteworthy archaeological excavations of the 20th century. The palace is located around 1.5 km of Emperor Qin Shi Huang’s Mausoleum in Lintong, Xian. This is really a big attraction to all sorts of tourists, especially archaeologists and who love architectural monuments. So, if you visit China, don’t forget to have a look at the great archaeological tourist spot.

Tiananmen Square

Tiananmen Square is one of the most historically noteworthy and biggest public squares in Chinese history. This colossal square is situated in the center of the Capital City of Beijing and was built in 1651 while there was a large-scale extension in 1958. This square is the eyewitness of many significant historical events of China.  At present, this is also a big attraction in Beijing. Everyday many foreigners including Chinese tourists gather to enjoy the splendor of this historical square.

    Very interesting,, My question, how the ancient people build great wall china through a very steep mountain? It is very confusing to me. No wonder the great wall of China became one of the wonders of the world.. 🙂
